Job summary

Dennis Eagle is seeking an HGV Driver / Yard Operative to transport vehicles between sites and support internal movements across the yard. You will drive, shunt, inspect vehicles and manage paperwork with a focus on keeping operations smooth and efficient.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.

Role: HGV Driver / Yard Operative (PDI)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:30 and Friday 06:00 to 11:00

Salary: Up to £16.66 ph DOE

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and proactive HGV Driver / Yard Operative. You’ll be responsible for transporting vehicles between sites, supporting internal vehicle movements, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across the yard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive and deliver HGVs to local storage depots
• Shunt vehicles around the yard and factory
• Inspect vehicles and complete paperwork
• Keep vehicles clean and road-ready
• Work closely with production teams

What You’ll Need

• HGV Class 2 licence
• Previous HGV driving experience
• Good organisational skills and a calm approach under pressure
• Flexibility and a strong work ethic
