Job summary

ARC is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for multiple clients across Birmingham and surrounding areas.

You will carry out store deliveries, trunking (depot to depot) and general haulage work with a focus on safety and reliability. Candidates must hold a UK driving licence, CPC, tachograph card and have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience; no more than 6 points and no DD/DR/IR codes on licence; good English and a polite, professional approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence, CPC, tachograph card, and 1 year Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR/IR codes on licence.
• Good attitude, hygiene, and English language skills.
• Polite and reliable driver for store deliveries and trunking.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles for store deliveries and trunking between depots.
• Carry out general haulage tasks as required by clients.
• Adhere to safety, tachograph regulations and per-shift duties.

• Mon to Fri - £19 to £23
• Saturday - £21 to £25
• Sunday - £22 to £27

General rates of pay PAYE:

• Mon to Fri - £17/£19.05 w/holiday
• Saturday - £19/£21.30 w/holiday
• Sunday - £21/£23.54 w/holiday
