Job summary

LAW DISTRIBUTION LIMITED in the UK is seeking drivers for HGV roles with a pay rate of £15.72 per hour and weekend overtime at enhanced rates. Rank-and-file duties include loading, delivering and ensuring compliance with tachograph requirements.

Uniform provided, weekly pay, and a workplace pension are offered. The position benefits from an easily accessible location just off Junction 23 of the M6 with parking on site.

Qualifications

• HGV licences required (Class 1 or 2 as applicable).
• Driver CPC, DQC and digital tachograph card required.
• One year driving experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience of curtain-siders advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English.
• No DRs, DDs or INs on licence.
• Smart appearance and presentation.

DRIVE WITH US

Pay: £15.72 per hour. Weekend overtime: Saturday £23.58 (time and a half) & Sunday £31.44 (double time)

Holidays: 21 days per year plus eight Bank Holidays

What are we looking for?

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence depending on the role
• Driver CPC, DQC and digital tacho card
• One year’s driving experience (preferred, but not essential)
• Experience of driving curtain-siders
• Good standard of written and spoken English
• No DRs, DDs or INs on licence
• Smart appearance
