Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd in Bristol is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 driver for an immediate start on day and night shifts. The role involves refrigerated runs, 2–6 drops per shift, and driving to customer sites across the region, with average shifts of 10–12 hours.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, a clean licence with up to six points, and at least 12 months Class 1 experience. Weekly pay, direct PAYE, and paid holiday are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• At least 12 months Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is required.
• Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points (no TT/TS/MS/DR/DD codes).

Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated goods across assigned routes.
• Complete 2–6 drops per shift.
• Average shift length: 10–12 hours.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic safety checks.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers.
• Wear PPE as required (safety boots, hi-vis).

HGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate start – Day and Night Shifts Available

Pure Staff is recruiting qualified HGV Class 1 drivers for the logistics, distribution and supply chain industry across England, Wales and Scotland. The role is based in Portbury, Bristol.

Pay Rates:

• Days Monday to Friday: £17 per hour (plus £2.05 per hour holiday pay accrued)
• Nights Monday to Friday: £18 per hour (plus £2.17 per hour holiday pay accrued)

Holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave and accumulates over time.

Responsibilities

• Refrigerated runs

• Professional manner when dealing with end customers
• Complete assessment prior to start of work
• Wear correct PPE while working (safety boots and high‑visibility clothing)
