Job summary

Sunoco is offering an internship in the Health, Environmental, and Safety organization. The intern will gain hands-on experience across environmental compliance, permitting, pipeline safety, emergency response, and safety systems, contributing to procedures, training materials, and regulatory research.

You will work on data management, analytics, and cross-program reviews while supporting documentation and program records, to build practical knowledge of HES operations.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to proof work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in environmental compliance and permit applications.
• Support data collection, regulatory research, and documentation.
• Help update Emergency Response Plans and training materials.
• Review procedures and assist with cross-program compliance reviews.
