Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking Herbicide Technicians to perform vegetation management for public and private clients. Field work uses spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and hoses to apply herbicides under safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, equipment maintenance, spray calibration, and identifying plant species. Candidates should have outdoor work experience, a valid pesticide license, and flexibility for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with 5 years of clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document all DOT vehicle inspections and report repairs.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized, operational condition.
• Operate and calibrate spray equipment per company standards.
• Identify common weed, grass, and brush species (training provided).
• Apply herbicides safely and follow label requirements.
• Develop knowledge of herbicides and target vegetation for client needs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
