Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team to provide value-based cancer care primarily in outpatient settings across the Hartford region.

Qualified candidates will be licensed PA or APRN in CT, with oncology experience and at least 1 year APP experience preferred; opportunities for professional advancement with Memorial Sloan Kettering; a welcoming team and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and outpatient management of cancer patients, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments and survivorship care.
• Opportunities for professional advancement and trainings through Hartford HealthCare's relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering.
• M-F daytime outpatient schedule with potential shifts on daytime inpatient consult service.
