Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team providing value-based care to Oncology Patients, primarily in outpatient settings across Hartford region sites.

Opportunities include collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering, professional development, and a daytime Mon-Fri schedule with potential inpatient consult shifts; a supportive, mentoring team awaits.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and outpatient management of cancer patients, including urgent visits and follow-ups.
• Pre-treatment chemotherapy visits and survivorship care.
• Collaborate with Memorial Sloan Kettering and Hartford HealthCare teams for advanced care.
• Participate in daytime outpatient schedule with potential inpatient consult shifts.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and mentoring within a supportive team.
