Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation in Boston is seeking a Classical Hematology Practice Nurse to join Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute on a 30-hour schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).

Oncology experience strongly preferred to support coordinated cancer care. The role requires autonomous patient care within a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities including data collection, administering treatments, patient education, and facilitating home and ambulatory

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous, accountable nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care through clinical centers and programs to optimize outcomes.
• Collect and assess health data to develop and evaluate the plan of care in ambulatory settings.
• Administer treatments and communicate with the care team; educate patients and families.
• Support disabilities forms, FMLA, and pre-authorizations as needed.
