Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Staff Nurse for the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute at the Brigham Main Campus in Boston. The role focuses on autonomous ambulatory care within a multidisciplinary cancer care team, coordinating patient plans from prevention to survivorship.

Responsibilities include triage via phone/gateway messages, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and APPs. Onsite work with 40-hour weekly schedule; weekend rotations possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current MA registration.
• BSN required for newly licensed nurses.
• OCN chemotherapy certification required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a point of contact with patients in ambulatory/outpatient settings to ensure optimal clinical management with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Communicate with patients via daily telephone triage and Gateway messages.
• Assist in triage of symptom management and guide patients to appropriate level of care.
• Monitor patients at home for toxicities related to chemo/surgery/radiation.
• Coordinate home services including visiting nursing and palliative care.
• Perform blood draws and maintenance of central lines; document injections and IV therapies.
