Facility Management: How does the facility manage acute leukemia and lymphoma? Patients are sent to the main hospital (25 minutes away).
Hospitalist Role: Do the hospitalists admit and round on cancer patients? Yes.
Rounding Schedule: Inpatient rounding from approximately 8:00-4:30. Every other week, inpatient volume is higher, with no clinic. During less busy inpatient weeks, there could be 2-4 hours of clinic daily, depending on census and volume.
Non-Rounding Weeks: Clinic schedule from approximately 8-4:30.
