Job description

Medical Oncology & Hematology locum Physician needed for clinic coverage in Minnesota, starting ASAP. Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm or 4:30pm. No call required. This need arises due to a permanent MD resignation, with ongoing coverage expected in 2021. Temp-to-perm options are also considered.

Practice Details:

• Outpatient setting
• EMR: EPIC
• Technology: Beacon (Chemo ordering system)
• Hematology constitutes approximately 30%, Oncology 70%
• Patient census: 12-16 adult patients per shift

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Medical Oncology required
• Dual-boarded in Hematology preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency/fellowship experience

Interview Process: Prefer Zoom video calls; phone interviews are acceptable if necessary.

Important Note: All confirmed providers must complete in-person, in-state fingerprinting in Minnesota before starting. This is a billable expense and requires scheduling on weekdays due to facility hours and COVID-related closures. Arrangements may be made to align fingerprinting with orientation to optimize travel, but this is not guaranteed. Privileges will not be granted without fingerprinting completion, even with an active MN license.
