Boynton Beach, Florida, Hematologist/Oncologist Job

• Clinical Role:
  • Permanent job opening for a Hematologist/Oncologist.
  • Seeking someone who is board certified or truly board eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology, & Oncology.
  • Hospital-based practice with 6 bay infusion suites (additional bays available if needed).
  • Supported by a 2-3 physician practice with mid-level support as needed.
  • Resources available at sister hospital and satellite locations.
  • Focus on tumor-specific practices (e.g., breast, lung, GU, GI).
  • Consults at hospital; call TBD.
  • Newly developed hospital-based and managed practice and infusion department.
  • Initially solo provider, evolving into a multi-physician practice.
  • Supported by a local Cancer Institute with additional resources.
  • Plan for three physicians to see all cancer types initially, then focus on specific tumor types as the practice develops.
  • Strong research department available for physician interests.
  • EMR: Cerner Millennium.
  • Weekly Tumor Board in conjunction with sister hospital.
