Locums - Hematology / Oncology Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician to cover an inpatient unit at a hospital in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology

Responsibilities:

• 24-hour call and inpatient rounding
• Daily rounding during the AM hours, ideally 8 AM - 12 PM
• After-hours call from 5 PM to 8 AM
• Phone triage; emergent cases require hospital reporting

Details:

• Coverage to start ASAP and continue ongoing
• Applicants must apply for emergency privileges; candidates with malpractice issues will not be accepted
• Full infusion center with 16 infusion chairs and 2 private beds
• Radiation oncology department offering core treatment options
