Owensboro Health Medical Group in Kentucky seeks a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat acute or chronic conditions in collaboration with a physician, within the Hematology & Oncology department.

This position requires a Master's degree or higher in Nursing, Kentucky APRN licensure, and national certifications. You will perform assessments, order and interpret studies, provide education, and coordinate care for patients and families in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Formación

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire.
• KY RN licensure and APRN licensure in Kentucky required upon hire.
• National certifications required upon hire (AANP, AACCN, NCCCOGN, PNCB, ANCC).

Responsabilidades

• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies.
• May perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral.
• Provides counseling and education of patients and families concerning preventative health, treatment options, and resources.
• Provides accurate and timely documentation of assessment and patient care plan.
• Coordinates registration functions including collecting and entering demographic, insurance, and co-payments.
