Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview and exam.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies; provide preventive health services as needed.
• Deliver direct treatment and management of health conditions with prescriptive authority or referrals.
• Counsel patients and families on prevention, treatment options and resources.
• Document assessments and care plans accurately and timely.
• Support registration tasks including demographic and insurance data if required.
