Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in High Point, NC is seeking a Credentialed Medical Assistant II for the Hematology and Oncology outpatient clinic. This full-time position supports a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, with duties spanning patient assessment, specimen collection, and routine in-office procedures.

Applicants should possess CMA or RMA credentials, a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA or RMA certification (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, AMT, etc.).
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify caring customer service to create an excellent patient experience.
• Interview and record patients' medical information and measure vital signs.
• Perform and support in-office procedures and point-of-care testing as applicable.
• Lead lower-level staff by providing direction and training; work with a multidisciplinary team.
