Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Hematology Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to provide direct patient care within the Department of Oncology at Navicent Health Medical Center - Infusion Pharmacy.

The pharmacist will spend dedicated time in the WT Infusion Oncology clinic, advising as a clinical expert for oncology patients and collaborating with nurses, clinicians, and pharmacy teams to meet clinical and operational goals.

Qualifications

Licensed in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity
Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required
Credentialing and privileging required
PGY2 Oncology Residency or strong Oncology experience
Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC

Responsibilities

Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens
Counsels patients and caregivers about meds, adverse effects, compliance, and administration
Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions
Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities
Mentors pharmacy teammates and students as assigned
Directs and checks accuracy of pharmacy support staff work
