Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY seeks a full-time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for 1st shift. You will perform high and moderate complexity testing with hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and blood bank analyzers, and report results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science with MT training.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• NYS License (Medical Technologist OR Medical Lab Technician).
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high and moderate complexity testing using hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and blood bank analyzers.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
