Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician for 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am) with rotating Saturdays. This full-time role offers MT $38.00-$50.00/hr or MLT $30.00-$45.00/hr and a sign-on bonus.

You will perform high and moderate complexity testing, maintain instruments, and report results while ensuring specimen integrity. New York State license required; BS/AS degree preferred; ASCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New York State license as MT or MLT.
• Bachelors or associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing using Roche instrumentation.
• Set up and complete instrument maintenance, calibration and QC.
• Analyze, review and report test results and QC data.
• Ensure specimen integrity per lab procedures.
• Follow departmental policies for QA, safety and compliance.
