Job summary

Premier Medical Laboratory in Edison, NJ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist with hematology experience to join our clinical team. You will perform hematology tests and support chemistry, immunology, and urinalysis workflows, ensuring accurate results and timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science and 2+ years in hematology. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required; daytime schedule with potential shift adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of hematology laboratory experience; related fields acceptable.
• Strong understanding of laboratory principles and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform hematology tests: CBCs, coagulation studies, blood smears.
• Conduct tests in clinical chemistry, immunology, drug testing, and urinalysis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments for reliability.
• Analyze/test results and communicate critical findings to medical staff promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QC, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
• Assist in training other technologists as needed.
