Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical science or medical technology.
• 1 year experience working in a hospital setting laboratory preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, blood bank, coagulation, and urinalysis.
• Analyze, verify, and report accurate results per policies and procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Document quality control, quality assurance and proficiency testing per standards.
• Review specimen integrity and determine testing acceptability.
• Follow CLIA, CAP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
