Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ seeks a Medical Technologist to support blood bank and core lab operations in a part-time capacity. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in laboratory science and CLIA-experience with moderate to high complexity testing. The schedule includes every other weekend and a 3:00pm–7:00pm shift.

ASCP certification is preferred. You will perform testing, ensure quality control, and provide accurate results with strong teamwork in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of externship in a CLIA laboratory.
• Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Aufgaben

• Analyzes, interprets, and validates laboratory procedures on biological material.
• Performs moderate and high complexity testing according to procedures.
• Post-analytically validates results, investigates deviations and applies corrective action.
• Performs quality control, pre-analytical processes, and specimen handling.
• Operates and troubleshoots laboratory equipment and communicates with staff.
