Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Supervisor for Hematology to lead daily operations and ensure timely, accurate testing. The role emphasizes staff coaching, technical oversight of high‑complexity assays, and maintaining quality systems.

Strong leadership and communication are required for a fast‑paced lab environment. The successful candidate will manage resources, partner with laboratory leadership, and drive process improvements while supporting PHI confidentiality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or CLIA supervisor qualification.
• Experience leading a team in a high‑volume clinical lab.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Hematology department.
• Supervise, develop, and coach laboratory staff.
• Provide technical oversight for high‑complexity testing and review patient results.
• Maintain QA, QC, safety, and compliance across the department.
• Monitor workflow, productivity and quality indicators; drive improvements.
