Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking an Evening Shift Supervisor in the Clinical Lab to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and provide technical consultation to medical staff. The role requires hospital lab experience and ASCP certification, with at least five years in a hospital setting.

The position offers growth into a Lead role and eligibility for shift differential, with duties spanning hematology, blood bank, chemistry, and more in a CLIA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years of hospital laboratory experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology; CLIA requirements followed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the section(s) and provide technical oversight.
• Serve as Technical Consultant to medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain and review quality control and proficiency testing processes.
• Assess staff competency and conduct performance evaluations.
