Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Operations Lead for the 2nd shift in Austin, Texas.

You will drive operational improvements, mentor staff, and ensure top-tier service to clients and patients while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent CLIA supervisor qualifications, with at least six years in high-complexity testing and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science) or qualification as a supervisor under CLIA regulations.
• Six years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory operations, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans.
• Support the Department Manager with goals and developing your team.
• Interact with clients, patients, employees and units with a focus on service.
• Review business indicators, optimize processes and maximize profitability.
• Champion safety, compliance and quality control.
