NYU Langone Health is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, ensure quality control, and manage instrumentation with minimal supervision.

The role includes reviewing results, reporting to the EMR, and supporting quality functions and staff training. A NYSDOH license and an advanced degree in a lab science are required, with extensive experience in medical laboratory work.

Qualificações

• Licensed as a NYSDOH Certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or related major (biology/chemistry/physical sciences).
• 8 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in the appropriate discipline.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures as required.
• Ensure quality control, instrument calibration, and documentation.
• Review patient results and report findings per policy.
• Communicate critical values to medical staff following protocol.
• Train and mentor junior staff and ensure competency assessments.
