Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced physician to oversee clinical development programs, ensuring study integrity, safety and timelines across translational and late-stage efforts. You will lead cross-functional teams, interpret data, and coordinate with Medical Affairs and external partners to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires an MD with oncology/hematology focus, 2+ years of trial experience, and strong English communication skills; a global, collaborative environment and opportunities

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) with oncology/hematology focus or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional global team and to interact with external partners.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages design and implementation of one or more clinical development programs within a Development Plan.
• Oversees study integrity, enrollment, timelines and safety data reporting.
• Designs, analyzes, interprets and reports scientific content for protocols and regulatory documents.
• Coordinates with Discovery, Medical Affairs and other functions to align translational strategies.
• Acts as clinical interface for opinion leader interactions and regulatory discussions.
• Stays updated on regulatory requirements governing clinical trials and global drug development.
