BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting a board certified/board eligible Hematology and Oncology Physician to join an established and thriving practice based at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. This opportunity is open to both new physicians looking to begin their career with an experienced mentor and experienced physicians looking to grow and thrive in an established practice.

Highlights of the opportunity include:

• Join an established practice with a large referral base, working alongside an experienced physician. The practice also includes a nurse practitioner to assist with volume and patient access.
• There is a high volume of breast cancer within the practice, although all cancers are seen.
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, seeing a variety of patients.
• Inpatient call will be 1:4 weekends.
• The office is located on the Hospital campus, in a large outpatient center with onsite infusion center, lab and imaging services, in addition to primary care and other surgical specialty practices.
• Experience with Clinical Trial Research is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills and enjoy working in a team setting.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Board Certification / Board Eligibility by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology.
• The ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
