BayCare Medical Group, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa area, is seeking a skilled and board-certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. The community has a significant demand for gastroenterology services, leading to a strong referral base.

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is the only not-for-profit community hospital in West Pasco County, featuring 141 acute care beds and a wide range of specialty services including Gastroenterology, Heart and Vascular, Imaging, Surgery, Neurosciences, and more. The hospital has recently undergone extensive renovations to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.

Responsibilities:

• ERCP training and experience is a plus, but not required.
• Inpatient call duties will be shared on a rotation of 1:4, involving two BayCare Medical Group employed physicians and two community physicians.
• We are a supportive healthcare system with a substantial referral base, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and success.
• Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply and contribute their expertise to enhance our services in the community.

Requirements:

• Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Gastroenterology.
• Ability to hold an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
