Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a production helper to support quality and dimensions on manufactured aluminum products. Starting rate of pay is $20.12/hour with a $1 shift premium for night work. Day shift runs 6AM to 6PM, Night shift 6PM to 6AM, with on-site responsibilities across material handling and packaging.

You will assist in achieving correct dimensions, learn production workflows, and support the saw operator. English comprehension is required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Understanding and applying basic production instructions.
• Able to stand for extended periods (8–12 hrs).
• Read basic measurements and perform simple math.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists other workers in ensuring correct dimensions and quality standards.
• Moves and positions materials at the work site with help of others.
• Assists saw operator.
• Holds tape measures and performs layout in production.
• Loads, stacks, and works on in-process materials by hand or with a truck.
• Creates production identification tickets.
• Assists in packaging material.
• Keeps area, machines, tools and equipment clean.

Starting Rate of pay: $20.12/hour

Shift Available and Hours:

Day Shift - 6AM to 6PM

Night Shift - 6PM to AM

Shift Premium: $1 additional for working night shift

What you will be doing

• Assists other workers in ensuring the correct dimensions and quality standards for products.

What will make you successful?

• Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
• Background in the operation of manufacturing, production, machine tools/equipment is a plus
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours or 12 hrs. shift.
• Good math skills.
• Forklift a plus experience.
