Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a Production Operator for the Mountain Top, PA facility on the 2nd shift (1:45pm–5:45am). The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient operation of fabrication equipment to meet customer demand, with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, and prior heavy manufacturing experience, including familiarity with precision metalworking, blueprints, and basic English communication for safety and production requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Metal working using precision instruments to produce tight tolerance products.
• Must be able to understand basic English instructions and effectively communicate regarding safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Quality inspection experience.
• Experience operating production equipment, punch presses, saws or CNC machines.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, or engineering specifications.

• Accountable for health, safety, and environmental aspects related to this position.
• Responsible for following Standardized Work and Work Instructions.
• Identify product defects and communicate with leaders.
• Operate and assist with maintaining proper equipment lubrication levels.
• Enter appropriate AS 400 transactions.
• Effective communication with Maintenance regarding equipment issues.
• Effective communication at shift transition.
• Operator care / housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Efficiently operate all fabrication equipment to meet customer demand.

Starting Rate of pay:

$20.33/ hour

Shifts Available and Hours:

2nd Shift

Monday through Friday from 1:45pm- 5:45am

This position may require mandatory overtime on Saturdays based on production and manufacturing needs.

Shift Premium:

$.32/ hour extra for shift differential

• Fabrication experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
