Job summary

C&S Companies in Syracuse, NY is seeking a PC Support / Helpdesk Technician to support applications, hardware, and peripherals. You will troubleshoot issues with IT staff and assist on IT projects to support company goals.

Qualified candidates have an Associate’s degree and 1–3 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Windows environments. Travel to remote locations may be required, and occasional evening/weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree and 1–3 years of applicable experience.
Must be detail oriented, organized and a self-starter.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
CompTIA A+ and/or related certifications preferred.
Ability to lift 30lbs.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Answer staff questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications.
Install hardware and software on Windows computers.
Perform basic hardware repairs and coordinate warranty service when needed.
Support computer and IT equipment inventory management including repair/service tracking and reporting.
Basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting.
PC imaging and deployment.
Setup of Laptop, docking stations, monitors and any other end user devices.
Troubleshoot computer problems.
Work one-on-one with staff on IT projects.
Document resolutions for future reference.
