Qualifications

  • Must obtain Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate within 6 months.

Job description

Location:

  • Dahlgren, VA. Day shift (0730-1530)

Security Clearance:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective use of Help Desk tracking and ticketing system(s)
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environment
  • Providing technical support by responding to and resolving end-user problems
  • Installation and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Hardware reimaging, set up and support
  • Assist with performing proper tracking and disposition of excess property
  • Support installation of network cables
  • Configure and maintain multiple classrooms/training areas
  • Course and account creation, maintenance for instructors and students
  • Documenting internal procedures
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new users

Experience Description:

The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.

  • One (1) year of Systems Administration and/or IT Support/Help Desk experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE) is required to start. Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certificate (MD-100 & MD-101) must be acquired within the first 6 months of start.
