Job summary

Florida Department of Health is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Operations, System Support Services. The successful candidate will manage user access to core systems, assist with asset inventory, and ensure timely, quality service for system users and staff.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with ticketing systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Experience with user account setup and security protocols.
• Experience with ticket management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Help Desk technician to resolve business office technical issues or assign tickets to the correct team.
• Act as a conduit between business customers and systems support to enable flow of mandated requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to establish technical vision and analyze usability vs. business needs.
• Assist with asset management and inventory.
• Deliver and assemble computer workstations and assets.
• Provide desktop support and coordinate with IT for assistance.
• Conduct user system access reviews and audit access.
