Associate Help Desk Technician – Remote (CST)

Optomi, in partnership with a public sector IT services organization, is seeking an Associate Help Desk Technician to join their remote Service Desk team! This entry-level position supports end-users by resolving technical issues, managing incidents, and escalating when necessary—all within a Windows 10/11 environment.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

• Provide Level 1 support for incidents and service requests via phone or email
• Log and triage tickets using ServiceNow, following incident and change management procedures
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Windows 10/11, networking, and end-user access
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams while maintaining communication with the user
• Track requests related to remote maintenance and equipment movements

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 0–2 years in a help desk or technical support role
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11
• Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Basic understanding of incident and change management
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote CST-aligned environment
