Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide telephone support for the helpdesk, handling tier-one IT support for hardware and software. You will document incidents, log calls in the help desk system, and escalate to technicians as needed, while communicating clearly with diverse users.

This role requires a High School Diploma with preferred A+ certification; knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, and Active Directory is a plus. The position is full-time with a variable shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in help desk activities using a help desk software application.
• Knowledge of email system fundamentals.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and MS/NT networking concepts.
• Familiar with Internet and web browser concepts.
• High School Diploma required for all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support for helpdesk and related processes.
• Provide tier one IT support for hardware and software.
• Use help desk software to log all incoming calls.
• Document incidents and route calls; notify technicians of critical issues.
• Interface with users to resolve problems and maintain skills.
• Advise Director/Manager of issues affecting the IS department.
