Linde Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Helium Technician to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

You will load, unload, and secure helium products under DOT standards, fill bulk containers, and troubleshoot analytical issues while reading P&IDs and processing controls. The role requires strong communication with operations, logistics, and management and may involve travel up to 10%.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year associate degree preferred.
• Experience with liquid/gaseous filling/unloading preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean record required.

Responsabilidades

• Load, unload, and secure products per DOT standards.
• Fill helium bulk containers to meet quality specifications.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Read P&IDs and process controls; issue Safe Work Permits and use LOTO.
• Operate compression equipment; safely start up/shutdown process equipment.
• Complete documentation and participate in training for compliance.
• Communicate effectively with operations, logistics, and management.

• Required to load, unload, and secure products in accordance with DOT standards, maintaining professionalism and communicate effectively with operations, logistics, and management
• Fill liquid and gas helium bulk containers to meet quality management system standards, ensuring 100% compliance with customer specifications
• Handle hazardous materials safely and troubleshoot analytical issues, making informed decisions
• Familiar with compression equipment and safely startup/shutdown process equipment as needed
• Issue Safe Work Permits and use LOTO to ensure safe work conditions, while reading and understanding P&IDs and process controls
• You will be required to perform duties under minimal supervision in diverse weather conditions, completing documentation accurately and participating in training programs for compliance

What Makes You Great

• You have a high School Diploma or equivalent is required; a 2-year associates degree
• Industrial experience with liquid/gaseous product filling/unloading is preferred
• A valid driver license with an acceptable record is necessary
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email, are required
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol test
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
• You must be willing to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and live or relocate within 45 miles of reporting location
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with up to 10% travel required and ability to meet physical demands including frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds
