Job summary

Linde Inc. seeks a Helium Technician I in Beaumont, TX to support safe handling of helium products and operate related equipment in compliance with DOT standards. You will load, unload, and secure materials, perform quality checks, and contribute to safety and documentation efforts.

You will work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential travel up to 10%. A valid license, basic computer skills, and ability to pass a physical are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year associate degree preferred.
• Industrial experience with liquid/gaseous product filling/unloading is preferred.
• Valid driver license with satisfactory record is necessary.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Email are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and secure products in accordance with DOT standards, maintaining professionalism and communication with operations, logistics, and management.
• Fill liquid and gas helium bulk containers to meet quality management system standards and customer specifications.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and troubleshoot analytical issues, making informed decisions.
• Familiar with compression equipment and safely start up/shut down process equipment as needed.
• Issue Safe Work Permits and use LOTO to ensure safe conditions, while reading P&IDs and process controls.
• Be prepared to perform duties under minimal supervision in diverse weather and complete documentation accurately, with training for compliance.

• Required to load, unload, and secure products in accordance with DOT

• Issue Safe Work Permits and use LOTO to ensure safe work conditions, while
  reading and understanding P&IDs and process controls
• You will be required to perform duties under minimal supervision in diverse
  weather conditions, completing documentation accurately and participating in
  training programs for compliance
