Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation. You will operate rotorcraft for patient transport, ensuring readiness and compliance with FAR and Med-Trans standards.

Compensation features include a $104,735–$115,209 range with an 18% geographic modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, 7/7 schedule, and on‑duty housing for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate current.
• 2,000 total flight hours
• 1,500 helicopter hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
• 200 helicopter night flight hours

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with medical team, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans rules.
• Maintain Med-Trans documentation and regulatory records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following Med-Trans change board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA Pilot Full-Time Opportunity

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Pilot Incentives

• $104,735 - $115,209 including 18% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
