Job summary

Global Medical Response is looking for a passionate Helicopter Pilot in Great Bend, Kansas, to provide essential medical air transportation services. This role involves working with a team of medical experts to ensure the safety and readiness of aircraft while communicating effectively with various partners.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,948 – $122,043, a sign-on bonus of $15k, and a retention bonus after three years. Candidates must meet various certification and flight hour requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is necessary.
• Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to transport customers safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness according to manuals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping.

Salary Range: $110,948 – $122,043 including 25% Geographic Modifier

15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readinessas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Transrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
