Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Stars Quality Improvement Professional to support clinicians and staff in improving CMS Star measures, patient safety, and patient experience across centers. You will review HEDIS gap reports, train teams, and help implement quality improvement workflows with clinical and operations partners.

The role requires 2+ years working with CMS Stars measures, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to travel locally from Houston for site visits and meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare STARS measures (HEDIS, Patient Safety, and CAHPS/HOS) and knowledge of measure specifications.
• 2+ years’ experience working with CMS Stars measures.
• Direct hands-on patient care, front office or provider relations experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience providing training 1:1 or in groups.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must reside in the Houston area and be willing to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians and staff to improve CMS Star measures, patient safety and patient experience.
• Review HEDIS data and gap reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Distribute reports to PCP and clinical teams to prompt action.
• Provide training on CMS Star measures to individuals or groups.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve Stars goals within markets and centers.
• Collaborate with partners to implement workflows that improve outcomes.
