Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Analyze financial results, trends, variances, and KPIs.
• Prepare detailed financial reporting and analysis for senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting for investment entities and related structures.
• Partner with accounting, investment, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support audits and provide schedules and analysis to external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen reporting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
• Assist with technical accounting matters as needed.
• Develop and maintain reporting schedules, supporting documentation, and analytical models.
• Provide financial insights to support business and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong experience preparing and/or analyzing financial statements is required.
• Experience working with complex financial data, investment entities, funds, or multiple legal entities is highly desirable.
• Hedge fund, private equity, asset management, investment management, or financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial results and clearly communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
