Senior Accountant - Financial & Regulatory Reporting
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Malvern, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and regulatory filings for registered investment funds, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and SEC requirements. You will work collaboratively with clients, auditors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality reporting and continuously improve processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, schedule of investments, footnotes, and additional schedules.
- Compile and review supporting information for SEC filings (e.g., 10-K/Q, N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT, 24F-2, N-2, N1-A).
- Coordinate the financial statement reporting process, liaising with clients, auditors, and internal professionals.
- Identify and resolve errors or issues, recommending solutions proactively.
- Work independently under minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures.
- Collaborate within a team environment to ensure exceptional client deliverables.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Participate in additional projects and tasks as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in Registered/40 Act Fund accounting or reporting.
- Familiarity with third-party reporting platforms (Confluence, DFIN, Workiva).
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in financial statement or regulatory review/preparation.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS; experience with complex derivatives preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
