Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess creditworthiness of clients and assign appropriate credit ratings
• Perform customer due diligence and financial analysis and summarize in written credit approval memos and reviews
• Review and approve trading activity, including recommending margin requirements as well as structural enhancements
• Set and communicate credit exposure appetite across trading products utilizing internal exposure methodologies
• Oversee legal negotiations for traded products
• Be principal contact for and partner with colleagues from Sales & Trading, Prime Brokerage, Investor Client Management, Treasury & Security Services, Legal, Investment Banking Coverage, Syndicated & Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, and Ratings Advisory
• Understand market developments and industry trends and assess the impact on client portfolios and strategies
• Demonstrate ability to mentor/guide junior resources
• Lead group wide efficiency projects
