JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director in Hedge Funds Credit Risk within the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Credit Risk Management team in Plano, TX. You will manage risk for North American hedge funds and alternative managers, covering client lending, trading, prime brokerage, and custody activities.

You will assess credit risk, determine risk appetite, and serve as the Credit Officer for key relationships, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with Sales, Prime Brokerage,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 9+ years of professional work experience in financial services.
• Credit/Market risk experience required.
• Knowledge of Hedge Fund and/or Asset Manager Industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products and market dynamics.
• Strong accounting and corporate finance skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsabilités

• Perform customer due diligence and financial analysis and summarize in credit memos.
• Review and approve trading activity and set margin requirements.
• Set credit exposure appetite across trading products using internal methodologies.
• Oversee legal negotiations for traded products.
• Serve as principal contact for Sales & Trading and related teams.
• Assess creditworthiness and assign appropriate credit ratings.
• Maintain updated credit research on a portfolio of clients.
• Mentor and guide junior resources and delegate work.
• Lead group-wide efficiency projects.
