Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC, partnering with a sophisticated global macro investment firm, seeks an experienced Fund Controller to serve as the lead accounting professional for the firm’s investment funds in a hands-on, highly visible role.

You will oversee fund accounting, NAV calculations, and monthly/quarterly reporting; manage investor allocations and SMA structures; coordinate audits with external auditors, fund administrators, and tax matters, while driving automation and scalable finance

Qualifications

• Experience as fund controller or senior accounting professional in investment funds.
• Strong knowledge of NAV calculations and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating audits and liaising with fund administrators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of fund accounting and financial reporting for the firm's investment vehicles.
• Manage investor allocations, partner capital accounting, and performance allocations across complex fund structures.
• Review and analyze NAV calculations, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and year-end financial statements.
• Act as the primary liaison with third-party fund administrators, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to reporting requirements.
• Monitor and account for a broad range of liquid investment products, including futures, swaps, options, repos, FX instruments, and other derivatives.
• Support the launch and ongoing oversight of separately managed account (SMA) structures and external manager allocations.
• Coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with tax-related matters, including K-1 reporting and tax implications associated with trading activities.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across the finance function, leveraging emerging AI and technology tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with investment, operations, and finance teams to address complex accounting, reporting, and operational issues.
