Job summary

State Street in Boston seeks a senior leader to drive alternatives development programs, focusing on Hedge, blending business, technology and product perspectives. You will partner with stakeholders, manage AI-enabled program governance, and guide agile delivery across global teams with senior management reporting.

The role requires 5–8 years in alternatives, strong program management and proven communication skills, with a track record of delivering complex transformations in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related experience.
• Experience in implementing AI process solutions.
• Minimum of 5-8 years within Alternative industry.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, Jira, Clarity and other development related tools.
• Knowledge of or experience leading projects related to the financial services industry is an advantage.
• Experience interacting and presenting to senior management around status and strategy reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or perform the execution of specified Alternative development programs, with a focus on Hedge, including partnering with other members of the client facing, product, global delivery and technology teams.
• Use latest AI technology to manage project documentation including business case creation, requirements, development plans.
• Facilitate program governance including compliance with policies, best practices, oversight of issues, risks, audit and compliance items in support of program reporting.
• Participate as product owner or business analyst for agile development programs including prioritization, epic & story creation, status tracking, execution status meetings, issue escalation/resolution, testing & implementation
• Collaborate globally across business units to share approaches, develop best practices and improve the teams capabilities to successfully execute and deliver new capabilities or better serve clients.
• Manage project status meetings, ensuring complete and accurate reporting and updates for senior management and key stakeholders around issues, risks, progress and accomplishments.
• Understand the firm's strategic plans, business, process and architecture and apply that knowledge in the solution design and development phases.
