Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a Kitchen Steward to perform deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will clean walls, floors, ceilings, and a wide range of kitchen equipment ensuring sanitation standards are met.

The role requires the ability to multitask with minimal supervision, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and adherence to health guidelines. Native American Preference applies in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings.
• Cleans kitchen equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, ventilation hoods and other equipment.
• Assists with other stewarding duties as needed.
• Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers.

Position Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings
• Cleans kitchen equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, ventilation hoods and any other equipment
• Assists with other stewarding duties, as needed

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

• Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers

Minimum Education and Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervision

Competencies

Training Requirements
