Job summary

Timberlyne Group in Texas seeks a Heavy Timber Drafter/Detailer to create fabrication-ready 3D models and detailed shop drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Cadwork. You will support estimation, procurement, engineering, fabrication, and construction through BIM workflows and CAD/CAM tools.

You will develop design development sets, structural sets, take-offs, and machine files, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure code compliance and accurate sequencing for

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, CadWork and related BIM software.
• Familiar with building codes, permitting processes, and architectural principles.
• Experience designing, drafting, modelling and creating schedules for digital fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Create fabrication-ready 3D models and shop drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, Cadwork.
• Produce 2D drawing sets and 3D visualizations for structural components.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, architects and contractors to ensure design intent and code compliance.
• Export CNC files and provide files for production and fabrication.
